Who is TerrAddict for?
For every terrarium and aquarium keeper, from the beginner setting up a first tank to the experienced breeder: reptiles, amphibians, insects, arachnids, freshwater or marine fish.
Is the app available in English?
Not at the moment: the app interface is in French. Community posts and listings are written by members in their own language.
Which devices is the app available on?
On iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on Android through Google Play. The website is mainly for professionals, who manage their listings, catalogue and events there.
How does an adoption work?
From a listing, you message the breeder directly through the in-app messaging. TerrAddict puts you in touch: the handover of the animal and the payment are arranged between you. Before adopting, check the regulations for the species, as some require specific paperwork.
Can I sell my gear?
Yes, in the Second-hand tab. You post a listing with photos and a price, and interested keepers contact you by message.
Who can see my animals and my location?
Each moment in an animal's life story can be public or private, it's your choice. Your location is only used for the second-hand map, and only if you allow it.
What should I do if I see a problematic post?
Report the post or comment from its menu, and block the user if needed. The community guidelines notably forbid posting an animal that is suffering, injured or kept in poor conditions.
I'm a breeder, shop, association or trainer. How do I get visible?
Sign in to the pro space on this website with your TerrAddict account. There you publish your listings, catalogue, courses and events, which then appear in the app.
How do I delete my account?
From the app settings, or from the “Delete my account” page linked at the bottom of this website.
